This logo is a soft warm color, and says Fernlight studio with a circle wrapping around it, cutting off at the F. There's a fern growing out of the circle outline.

Where creativity meets soulwork & both are welcomed home.

For the seekers, the feelers, the makers -this is a place to create, transform, and remember your magic.

In the left foreground is a burred easel with a blank canvas on it. Behind the easel is a warmly, soft-lit desk featuring a variety of art supplies like paint, colored pencils, and a typewriter. There's a brown chair up to the desk, too.

About the Studio

Fernlight studio is where you can find artist and healer Bee Deratour covered in paint, holding a cup of tea, and dreaming up new ways for people to breathe a little deeper. Nestled near the colorful edges of New York’s Adirondack Mountains, this little space is both a sanctuary for creativity and a healing haven. A soft-lit corner of the world where art and energy work meet.

Here, you’re invited to explore, to rest, and to reconnect. Whether you’re drawn to original artwork, intuitive Reiki, grounding experiences, or community offerings, FernLight exists as an open door for anyone who believes in the quiet, transformative magic of creativity and care.

This is a place to gather.
A place to grow.
A place to come home to yourself, one brushstroke, one breath, & one gentle moment at a time.

Meet Bee - artist, healer, and fern-loving chaos gremlin behind FernLight Studio.

Featured here is a portrait of Bee, a white non-binary person with short brown hair, brown glasses, and a septum ring. They're wearing a striped button up shirt that reveals black and grey tattoos on their forearms. The background is a bookshelf.

I blend the magic of art with the intuitiveness of Reiki and creative healing to create spaces where weirdness is welcome, tenderness has room to breathe, and overstimulated nervous systems can finally soften. My work lives where color meets intuition, where healing meets curiosity, and where being human gets to be messy and beautiful at the same time.

I’m queer, autistic, and devoted to accessibility, which means everything here is built with real people and real feelings in mind. A bit playful, a bit soulful, and always human.
